A VINTAGE STYLE PILOT WATCH
A vintage style pilot watch inspired by the historic war planes from the World War 2 era: The Supermarine Spitfire and the Mustang P-51.
It's Japan automatic movement is housed by a curved shaped 42 mm brushed finish 316L Stainless Steel while the wire style 22 mm lugs connect the watch to a pair of fine Italian leather straps with quick release pins for easy swaps.

The Ferro & Company AGL 2 is powered by a Japan Automatic Movement Caliber 8217 that will work for a long time and will keep your time accurate. The movement also offers a 24 hour sub-dial positioned at 9 O'clock and a curved window date at 3 O'clock. The AGL 2 Caliber 8217 watch also comes with a decorated rotor while the back case holds a fixed propeller resembling the aesthetics of Supermarine Spitfire or Mustang P 51 vintage planes.
The Miyota 8217 has a power reserve of 42 hours with a vibration frequency of 21600 beats per hour which make the seconds hand move smoothly.

Years ago I bought an Omega SeaMaster watch ( James Bond Edition). I wore it always and never considered that I should/could own more than one watch at a time --- until after 12 years my watch needed a full service and refurbishment and so it has gone for service and apparently for quite awhile too. So I found myself watchless and started to look around for a watch. I looked at hundreds of watches on Amazon but was unimpressed with the styles available, they all looked alike and were uninspiring. The quality was suspect as well. Then I came across Ferro & Company and liked what I saw and was impressed with the quality promised. And so I bought a watch from Ferro & Company but the watch was not me and I contacted Bob to discuss a return. He wrote back to me almost immediately and welcomed a return if I was not happy. I was relieved. Then I read a bit about the Japanese automatic movement they used and I realized that they sell a high quality watch. Having a sapphire Crystal is important to me as I recall watches of the past being easily scratched. Having a high quality leather band is important to me as well. Of course each watch on offer is distinctive and I chose a vintage look watch more to my personal taste. Now I wear something distinctive and original and of high quality. A bonus for me is to support a Canadian enterprise from beautiful British Columbia. I think I might start a collection of watches I never considered before.
