Bold colours, attention to details, Swiss made, keeps time like a champ
Awesome watch. I love the kettle shaped case and the double dome sapphire crystal. The blue dial with the focal point pattern and textured numerals really draw your eyes in. The hands gives a very good readability while appealing to the aviation aesthetic. Haven't had the time to try out the Lume yet (this is a surprise because I didn't know it had Lume treatment) but from what I've seen so far it's promising. It keeps time very well so far (better than I expected). Love the open case back and the custom-made rotor as well as the fact that this watch is strictly limited. The screw down crown is looking amazing. I also really liked the shape of the lugs. The brushed horizontal finish contrast well with the hybrid polished/brushed finish of the crown. The rose-gold PVD coating is impeccably done. Make no mistake this is a watch you must dress up to wear. As for the strap, I would've preferred something less thick with a leather sporting a bigger grain (that's just me). I would've also liked to see a butterfly clasp. The strap is very comfortable but is so thick and stiff that the watch becomes difficult to put on or remove from the wrist. I'm also worried that, with all the force I have to apply while prying the strap each time I'm closing or opening the pin buckle, the strap will wear off more quickly than other straps. As for the aesthetic of the strap I have nothing to add, it's very good-looking. The black leather is contrasting well with the white stitches. Overall it makes a bold statement while offering precise timekeeping and a tremendous attention to detail typical of Swiss manufacturing. I definitely recommend buying this watch.
