THE ENGINES
Just as Le Mans cars are powered by mighty engines; Distinct 3.0 watches are also packed with robust movements that can last for generations.
The Miyota caliber 9015 is a 24 jewel automatic Japan movement equipped with a ball bearing rotor and works very precisely with 28,800 half oscillations per hour and has a power reserve of 42 hours, and you will never need any batteries with this movement. The Distinct 3.0 series are also powered by Swiss Ronda Quartz Caliber 715 that keeps your time accurate for a very long time.
HOW TO READ THE TIME
The 12-hour dial is divided by 144 marks. Each mark represents 5 minutes. The combination of the bold 15, 30 and 45-minute marks and the prominent needle pointer make it easy to read time. Below are 2 examples:

Just received my Ferro Distinct Petrol 3. This classically styled Automatic is my first Singled Hand timepiece, but definitely not my last! I have purchased watches that are 3 times the price but that don't provide anywhere the quality, styling and satisfaction. Well Done Ferro & Co. !
Watch arrived very fast. Beautiful box and presentation. When I opened the box this watch immediately became my favorite In my collection. The design, the color and the uniqueness of the single hand makes this watch stand out. I get daily compliments and it becomes a conversation topic each time.
I went back and forth on a few different models, but decided on the Distinct 3 Petrol and am happy with my decision. It is a nice and clean look with an innovative design- a real conversation starter! Like other reviewers mentioned, it would be nice to have a larger option to choose. Not necessarily in my case because of wrist size, but also so that the hash marks to read the time are a little more spaced out. At my age, I need my readers to get a really good look at the precise time :)

I have had my eye on this watch for a little while and wanted it before I circumnavigat Canada via car. After contacting the company and they assured me the watch would be in my hands in time I placed my order. Not only did it arrive on time but it arrived early.
The watch styling and craftmenship are of a level expected of much higher priced watch and the exhibition back is an added bonus not to be ignored. Since getting the watch it has not been off my wrist. Reading the time on the one handed Distinct 3 automatic is so intuative that it maks you wonder why a solid attempt was never pulled of before. I cannot say enough about the fit and finish. It is the perfect watch for a quick glance at your wrist. I highly recommend this company and while in Vancouver hope to have an opportunity to drive by their facility.
